Last week, SKY Express welcomed its first Airbus A321 at Athens International Airport. This aircraft is the biggest version of the A320neo family. Another Airbus A321neo is expected to be added to the airline's fleet in 2023. With these new additions, SKY Express will operate a total of 23 aircraft, making it the youngest and most eco-friendly fleet in Greece and one of the most environmentally conscious in Europe.
George Lioumbis, General Manager of SKY Express, commented: “We are very proud to welcome our first AIRBUS A321neo. True to our vision to provide our passengers with a unique travel experience, we continue vigorously to constantly upgrade our services, further enhance our competitiveness, and contribute substantially to our country's economy. As part of this vision, the increased capabilities of our new aircraft will be a very important tool for both our team and the traveling public.”

SKY Express's growth is evident through its fleet expansion, which includes the recent addition of an Airbus A321neo, with a second one expected to join the fleet in 2023. These two new aircraft will enable the airline to increase the number of destinations it serves and expand its flight operations. It is anticipated that these new planes will positively impact routes between London, Paris, and other locations.
