Replay Past Flights with Playback

AirNav RadarBox is pleased to announce the release of a new feature called Playback. The new feature has been added to the website as part of our constant effort to create practical new features to enrich our user's experiences on our web and mobile platforms.
With the RadarBox playback feature, you can travel back in time and replay the air traffic of a specific date and time in the past, within a 365-day period.
Using playback on RadarBox.com

Step 1 - Visit RadarBox.com and on the right sidebar, you'll find the "playback" button. Click on it.

Step 2 - Once the Playback menu has opened, click on the calendar icon, choose the date and time in the past and simply wait for a few seconds for the aircraft icons to populate the map.

Step 4 - Similar to selecting a specific day, in this step, you can choose a month and a year that you want to observe or obtain data.

Note - The time is always based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). In the example below, the playback date and time is set to August 6 at 18:57 UTC.

Step 5 - Select the playback speed. The available options are: 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, and 64x. Then click on the play icon. Done!
Tip - This feature works in any region of the world and for all types of flights and aircraft.
In the screenshot below, we replayed a Delta Air Lines flight DL1442 from Houston to Salt Lake City on August 6, at 18:57 (UTC).

The playback feature can be a powerful tool for comparisons or even replay an aviation incident or accident in the past.
