Eurowings Unveils New Prague Flights Operated by Smartwings in Codeshare Agreement, Introduces Domestic Routes from Dusseldorf to Leipzig/Halle

Eurowings has announced the launch of new flights originating from Prague, with operations being handled by Smartwings under an existing codeshare agreement. This expansion also encompasses the introduction of domestic flights connecting Dusseldorf to Leipzig/Halle.

Under the established bilateral codeshare arrangement, additional routes operated by Smartwings departing from Prague are now accessible for booking under Eurowings flight designations. Among these routes, three are included in the winter flight schedule, connecting Prague to the Canary Islands (Fuerteventura, Las Palmas, and Tenerife), along with a route from Prague to Hurghada, Egypt.

Also, bookings are now open for flights between Prague and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands and the Italian destinations of Brindisi, Cagliari, and Catania, slated for the upcoming summer flight schedule.

Commencing April 8, Eurowings will commence flights from Dusseldorf to Leipzig/Halle Airport. Operating weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the Airbus A320 family of aircraft will be deployed for this route. Immediate bookings can be made through various sales channels.
