Three USAF bomber models will fly over the Super Bowl
The USAF will conduct a flight with its three bomber models (B-2, B-1BLancer and B-52), during the Super Bowl sporting event, the event will take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on the 7th of February.
The announcement was made this Monday (25/01), the aircraft involved will be a B-1B Lancer from Ellsworth Air Force Base, a B-2 A Spirit from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, and a B-52H Stratofortress from Minot Air Force Base, ND.
The passage of the aircraft will happen during the performance of the American anthem. “Supporting this event is a tremendous honor for our command and the U.S. Air Force,” said Gen. Tim Ray, AFGSC commander. “We look forward to this opportunity to showcase the reliability, flexibility and precision of our bomber fleet to the nation during this exciting event.”
