Latam Brazil Carried 70 Million Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines in Six Months

Latam Brazil, a Brazilian subsidiary of LATAM Airlines Group, has carried 70 million COVID-19 vaccines free of charge in Brazil through 1,000 flights in a 6-month period throughout the South American country.
The operation denominated "Solidarity Plane", or in Portuguese: "Avião solidário", carried 72.5 million doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, equivalent to 52% of the total volume of vaccines transported in Brazil.

Latam Airlines has assured the transportation of 70 million doses of the vaccines (Pfizer, Sinovac, Janssen, AstraZeneca, and others) against COVID-19 this week with the distribution and shipment of more than 2.62 million doses in an operation of 39 flights throughout Brazil, which began on Monday (09) and lasted until Wednesday (11).
One of the airline's goals is to assist vaccine distribution logistics throughout the country and generate value for society through the carrier's connectivity in Brazil and South America.
The project headed by Latam also transports immunizers against COVID-19 in other South American countries such as Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and other South American countries where the airline maintains flight operations.
Latam Solidarity Plane
Latam's Solidarity Plane has also transported, free of charge, more than 1,000 health professionals to attend to emergencies related to the COVID-19 pandemic and more than 550 people with various medical needs, such as illnesses or surgeries that require urgent attention. Specifically for Manaus (AM), in Northern Brazil. LATAM's Solidarity transported 69 tons of medical supplies, oxygen cylinders, etc.
