Binter receives its fourth Embraer E195-E2

The Spanish airline Binter, based in the Canary Islands, received yesterday, March 18th, its fourth Embraer E195-E2 aircraft from an order of five units placed with Embraer.

EC-NNV flight data on the RadarBox: 

The flight took off from São José dos Campos (Brazil) at 10:58 am (Brazilian time) with a stopover in Recife (Brazil) and then proceeded to Las Palmas in the Canary Islands on March 18th.

The aircraft received the Spanish registration EC-NNV and was named 'Lanzarote,' one of the Canary Islands archipelago's most popular tourist islands in Spain.

The company is in third place among its European counterparts in terms of the youthfulness of its fleet. The airline currently has 26 aircraft, 22 - ATR 72-600 turboprops, and four E195-E2 jets, with an average fleet age of three years.

The Embraer E195-E2 will be used on routes from the Canary Islands to the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa, which is expected to regain passengers this summer after an atypical year for the entire commercial aviation industry due to the pandemic.

The Embraer jet has the capacity to carry up to 132 passengers.
