Alliance Airlines honors the 100th anniversary of the Australian Air Force

Last Sunday, March 14, an Embraer ERJ190 belonging to Alliance Airlines, the Brisbane-based Australian airline, was spotted at San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO), Costa Rica, with a special livery celebrating 100 years of the Australian Air Force.

The 15.5-year-old aircraft, manufactured by Embraer, currently has the registration number N912QQ. It is not yet known which license plate will be used by the aircraft on its new carrier.

According to reports, the Australian airline has purchased 14 - Embraer E190 from Copa Airlines and is being painted at Coopesa, a maintenance hangar in Costa Rica.

The Australian company currently has 50 aircraft in its fleet, of which 5 - Fokker 50, 14 - Fokker 70, 27 - Fokker 100, and 4 Embraer 190. In addition, the company will receive 1 Fokker 70 and 26 Embraer 190s in the future.
